Tracie Barberi, LCSW, is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience in social work, education, and clinical practice. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Georgian Court University and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Fordham University. She further advanced her expertise by obtaining a post-master’s certification in Complementary and Integrative Therapies from Drexel University, along with additional certifications in trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), group work and psychotherapy, clinical work with children, families, and geriatrics, chronic illness, oncology, neurological disorders, and end-of-life, palliative, and hospice care.

 

Tracie spent 23 years as a Clinical Educator and Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Community Medical Center, where she played a vital role in patient care, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She continues to provide compassionate social work counseling services for VNA Hospice and Chemed Behavioral Health, supporting individuals and families navigating complex health challenges.

 

She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) at Simmons University, with an anticipated graduation in 2026.

 

Her commitment to professional development, advocacy, diversity, equity, inclusion, intersectionality, and anti-racism ensures that her students and clients receive informed, inclusive, and person-centered support.
